Saveock Mill

Every Sunday for nearly 2 years now I have been assuming my alter ego and venturing out to Saveock Mill nr. Chacewater. On Sundays I become Lottie the archaeologist! For the last 2 years i've been a member of the Saveock Archaeological society and we've been building a reconstruction of an Bronze Age roundhouse. It's one of the best things I have ever been involved in. I was thinking of using it as the subject for a photo book we've been asked to make at uni, so today I combined my photography with my archaeology to produce some portraits of the team. We had a BBQ in the hearth, sausages and warm homemade bread, and enjoyed the space that we had created :) it was brilliant! Unfortunately today also turns out to be the last Saveock session for a while, i'm going to miss it :( Here are two of my favourite photographs from today...
